A European approach.
Today, the European level is essential when it comes to policy and societal change. Active and healthy ageing is a major European issue and is highlighted in European funding programmes. By being involved at European level, the GérontopôleNouvelle-Aquitaine is promoting knowledge and the sharing of European best practices and innovations. It also promotes regional initiatives and policies at European level, in collaboration with committed European regions.
• Act as the European interface for active and healthy ageing stakeholders involved in research, innovation and training in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region
• Take part in innovation at European level for the well-being of older people
• Disseminate and promote best practices and results of European projects to stakeholders in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and vice-versa
• We take part in European networks.
• We are involved in collaborative European projects.
• We identify and share with active and healthy ageing stakeholders European calls for projects, the latest news from our sector and best practices.
